After using it, I was thinking that the battery life is too short… but after purchasing it, the battery failed after half a year.
The same phenomenon can be confirmed in the reviews on Amazon.
The warranty is also short, only 4 months, so there is nothing I can do about it.
Mr. GadgetIn the first place, a warranty of this kind is usually one year, or at least six months, so four months is a bit…
Originally, the battery life was too poor, so there is a possibility of initial failure, but I personally do not recommend purchasing it in any way.
This time, I would like to share my actual impressions of the “Fintie Bluetooth Keyboard Cover” for the 11th generation “Fire HD 10” from Amazon, which I reviewed previously.
If you haven’t read the previous article, please check here↓

The keyboard cover I’m reviewing this time is a convenient accessory that can easily transform your tablet into a laptop-like experience.
Of course, it has its pros and cons, but if the usage is a good fit and you can use it effectively, you can comfortably perform light tasks such as typing, which you couldn’t do with a tablet alone.
So, I will summarize the key points based on my actual experience and tell you who I recommend it to.

- You can easily use 『Fire HD 10』 as a laptop
- Too heavy
- No trackpad
- Narrow range of motion
- Keyboard is difficult to use
- Charging is troublesome
- Battery life is too short

Actual Impressions
It’s incredibly heavy

This keyboard cover is incredibly heavy.
The published weight of the tablet body is 465g, while the published weight of this keyboard cover is 634g, exceeding the weight of the body.
When attached to the body, it weighs over 1kg in total.
As you can see in the photo above, when actually measured with the tablet body, it weighs 1121.4g≒approximately 1.1kg.
Furthermore, it is thicker than other covers due to the keyboard, making it difficult to carry.
It completely negates the portability, which is one of the good points of the 『Fire HD 10』…
The keyboard is difficult to use

The reason for the difficulty in using this keyboard is that it is the same size as the tablet, so it is overall small.
Although it is unavoidable to make the keyboard the same size as the tablet in order to function as a cover, you cannot type like a normal laptop keyboard.
Mr. GadgetI often pressed two keys at the same time or made typos…
As you can see in the photo above, the Enter key is far too small.
There is no keyboard more difficult to use than one with a hard-to-press Enter key.
Switching between Japanese and English input is also done in a unique way, so it takes some getting used to.
There is also no trackpad, so you often end up touching the tablet to operate it, and I often found myself using the tablet body directly instead of the keyboard.
Narrow range of motion

The photo above shows the keyboard cover opened to its maximum.
The range of motion is quite narrow, and your neck gets tired when using it. It would be much more comfortable if it could be tilted a little more, but unfortunately…
Poor Battery Life
The keyboard cover is said to be able to be used for up to 400 hours on a single charge, but that’s not true.
I feel that the battery life is about half the operating time of the tablet.
It’s at a level where I suspect it may be a defective unit.
Summary
As I mentioned earlier, the battery life is too short… and the battery failed after purchasing it for half a year.
The same phenomenon can be confirmed in the reviews on Amazon.
Originally, the battery life was too poor, so there is a possibility of initial failure, but I personally do not recommend purchasing it in any way.

It’s mediocre as a keyboard and as a case
Certainly, using this keyboard cover makes input operations and the overall experience closer to that of a PC.
However, it has far too many drawbacks for everyday use.
Honestly, it might be easier to work on a cheap laptop.
As a case, it takes up unnecessary width due to the keyboard, and frankly, it’s mediocre as both a keyboard and a case.
It is recommended for people who basically use the tablet and occasionally need to type, but do not have high expectations.
Recommended for people like this
- People who want to type on the 『Fire HD 10』
- People who want to use the 『Fire HD 10』 like a laptop
