Sound Quality and Volume

I tested it by connecting it to Google Meet.

The sound quality isworlds apart from a computer’s built-in microphone or speakers. The clarity of the audio is completely different.
You can clearly feel the effectiveness of the echo cancellation and noise suppression.
Only the speaker’s voice comes through cleanly, allowing me to participate in web meetings without any awkwardness and stay focused.

During testing, I was alone in a 6-tatami mat room, and the volume felt quite loud even at its lowest setting. Connectivity

For wired connections, it supports AUX and USB, and both responded without any issues. There was minimal latency, and I felt no particular stress.

Wireless connection options include using a USB dongle or connecting via Bluetooth.

When connecting via the USB dongle, the connection was established simply by plugging it in. Since it only requires plugging into the USB port, it is extremely simple and straightforward.

For Bluetooth connections, initial pairing with the “eMeet M2 max” was required, but subsequent use was completely hassle-free and connected smoothly.

With both connection methods, there was not much difference in sound quality compared to a wired connection. However, there is still a slight delay compared to wired connections.

Additionally, it was possible to use it via Bluetooth connection not only with computers, but also with smartphones.

Speaker

Compared to the previous model, the speaker has definitely been upgraded. The maximum volume has increased from 3W to 5W. It can get tremendously loud.

The drawback is that even the minimum volume level is quite loud. While the previous eMeet M2 could be used without issues by a single person or in a small room, the new eMeet M2 max is a different story. Because it is completely optimized for large-group usage, those considering using it in small groups should definitely choose the previous eMeet M2 instead.

Conversely, for those considering use in large conference rooms or with a large number of people, I think the new eMeet M2 max will be much more convenient to use.

Also, while I am not sure if anyone expects that level of sound quality from a meeting, comparing the two, the sound quality of the new eMeet M2 max is better.

Portability

The previous eMeet M2 had a weight that made it easy to carry around, and it didn’t bother me much even when put in a bag. However, the new eMeet M2 max has a weight that is quite noticeable, and I definitely feel that it is significantly heavier compared to the previous model.
