After using it, I thought the battery life was too short… Then, the battery failed after half a year of purchase. You can also confirm the same phenomenon in the Amazon reviews.
The warranty is also short, only 4 months, so there is no recourse.
M. GadgetIn the first place, a warranty is basically one year, and at least six months, so four months is a bit…
The battery life was originally too poor, so there is a possibility of initial failure, but personally, I do not recommend purchasing it in any way.
This time, I would like to tell you about my actual impressions of the “Fintie Bluetooth Keyboard Cover” for the Amazon 11th generation “Fire HD 10” keyboard that I reviewed previously.
If you haven’t read the previous article, please go here↓

The keyboard cover I’m reviewing this time is a convenient tool that can easily change the feeling of using a tablet to something like a notebook computer. Of course, there are pros and cons, but if the usage is a good fit and you can use it well, you can comfortably do light work that you couldn’t do with the tablet alone, such as typing.
So, I will summarize the key points based on my actual impressions and tell you who I recommend it to.

- You can easily use the 『Fire HD 10』 like a notebook computer
- Too heavy
- No trackpad
- Narrow range of motion
- Keyboard is difficult to use
- Charging is a hassle
- Battery life is too short

Actual impressions
It’s really heavy

This keyboard cover is really heavy.
The published weight of the tablet body is 465g, while the published weight of this keyboard cover is 634g, which is surprisingly heavier than the body. When attached to the body, the total weight exceeds 1kg.
As you can see in the photo above, the actual measurement including the tablet body was 1121.4g≒about 1.1kg.
Furthermore, it becomes thicker than other covers due to the keyboard, making it difficult to carry.
It completely negates the portability, which is one of the good things about the 『Fire HD 10』…
The keyboard is difficult to use

The reason for the difficulty in using this keyboard is that it is the same size as the tablet, so it is overall small. Although it is unavoidable to make the keyboard the same size as the tablet in order to function as a cover, it is not possible to type like a normal notebook computer keyboard.
M. GadgetI often pressed two keys at the same time or made typos…
Also, as you can see in the photo above, the Enter key is too small. There is no keyboard that is more difficult to use than a keyboard with a hard-to-press Enter key.
Switching between Japanese and English input is also done in a unique way, so it takes time to get used to it.
There is no trackpad, so you often have to touch the tablet to operate it, and I often found myself using the tablet body directly without using the keyboard.
Narrow range of motion

The photo above shows the keyboard cover opened to its maximum extent.
The range of motion is quite narrow, and your neck gets tired when using it. It would be much more comfortable if the angle could be adjusted a little more… Unfortunately.
The charge doesn’t last at all
The official claim for this keyboard cover is that it can be used for up to 400 hours on a single charge, but that’s not true. In reality, the battery life is about half the operating time of the tablet. It’s at a level that makes you suspect an initial defect.
Summary
After using it, I thought the battery life was too short… Then, the battery failed after half a year of purchase. You can also confirm the same phenomenon in the Amazon reviews. The battery was already failing after half a year of purchase. It’s possible that the battery life was originally too poor, resulting in an initial defect, but personally, I do not recommend purchasing it in any way.

It’s mediocre as both a keyboard and a case
Certainly, using this keyboard cover makes input operations and the overall experience closer to that of a notebook computer. However, it has too many drawbacks for everyday use. I think it’s better to just buy a cheap notebook computer.
As a case, it unnecessarily widens due to the keyboard, and frankly, it’s mediocre as both a keyboard and a case.
It is recommended for people who basically use the tablet and occasionally need to type, but do not have high expectations.
