Actual Usability
Lightweight and Ultra-Compact!
The “UGREEN Nexode Mini 30W” achieves this compactness by adopting GaN II, a next-generation power semiconductor material previously used in industrial machinery such as artificial satellites.
Mr. GadgetHonestly, it feels like all small chargers lately use GaN.
So pretty much every product is similar in size (laughs).
Ms. GadgetWell, being this small makes it very convenient to carry around!
Recommended for Smartphone and Tablet Charging Due to Max 30W Output
| Output | USB-C: 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 12V/2.5A, 15V/2A, 20V/1.5A, 30W Max |
This charger is capable of a maximum output of 30W.
Mr. GadgetWith 30W, most smartphones can be charged rapidly enough.
Additionally, you generally won’t feel any dissatisfaction charging tablets with 30W.

A Little Caution Needed If You Plan to Charge Laptops
Laptops sometimes require a wattage higher than 30W, and using a 30W charger may result in slow charging or failure to charge at all.
Mr. GadgetThis is simply a matter of whether the detailed specifications of this charger match up with the laptop’s specifications or not…
Though for laptops that don’t require a lot of power, like the MacBook Air or a Chromebook, it charges normally.
Generally, when charging a laptop with an AC adapter (charger), you shouldn’t use one with a lower wattage than required, but when charging via USB-C (PD) as in this case, it’s generally fine to use it because it will simply charge slowly or not charge at all.
Mr. GadgetWell, with 30W, I think most PD-compatible laptops can be charged, even if it’s at a slower speed.
Simple, Cute Design & Abundant Color Variations
The “UGREEN Nexode Mini 30W” comes in four color variations: black, green, blue, and purple.
Ms. GadgetThe one introduced here is green, but there are also blue and purple options.
All of the colors are cute!
Mr. GadgetI personally love UGREEN because they don’t awkwardly emphasize logos and keep many of their designs simple (laughs).
Only One USB-C Port
The “UGREEN Nexode Mini 30W” is equipped with only a single USB Type-C port.
Ms. GadgetI’d love to have 2 or more ports.
Mr. GadgetWell, since it’s this small, having just 1 port is unavoidable.

It is said to properly feature safety functions such as overcharge protection, overheat protection, overcurrent protection, and short-circuit protection.
Additionally, Ugreen’s proprietary SmartCharge technology automatically determines the output according to the connected device, enabling powerful and safe charging with the optimal current amount.
Mr. GadgetUGREEN is a well-known company in the gadget community, and I consider them a trustworthy manufacturer.
Ms. GadgetChoosing products from reliable manufacturers is important!
