POCO F9 Ultra Features a Large Screen and Telephoto Camera
The POCO F9 Ultra is equipped with a 6.9-inch screen and three rear cameras. Its characteristic features include not only a large display but also 50-megapixel cameras for both telephoto and ultrawide. The audio system incorporates an independent woofer, providing dedicated configurations for video, photography, and sound.

6.9-inch Screen and Independent Graphics Chip
The display is a 2608×1200 AMOLED with a maximum refresh rate of 185Hz. It supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, and also employs DC dimming. Although listed as a 6.9-inch screen, the diagonal dimension when calculated as a rectangle is approximately 6.85 inches.
Processing is handled by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which is paired with the VisionBoost D8 chipset to assist with rendering. The VisionBoost D8 configuration handles super resolution, frame interpolation, and Game HDR simultaneously. The display’s 185Hz is a maximum value, and does not mean that all games will always run at 185fps. Available features vary depending on the app and software.
The body dimensions are 163.49mm (height), 77.94mm (width), 8.74mm (thickness), and it weighs 235g. Along with its large screen, the body itself is also relatively large.

120mm Equivalent Telephoto and 50-Megapixel Ultrawide
The rear camera system consists of a triple setup: a 200-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, and a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera. The main camera has an aperture of F1.68, and the telephoto camera has F3.0, both equipped with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).
The telephoto camera has a focal length equivalent to 120mm, supporting 5x optical zoom. The ultrawide is equivalent to 17mm. This configuration uses separate cameras for capturing distant subjects with zoom and for wide-angle shots. The 200-megapixel main camera also features a dedicated high-resolution shooting mode.
Video recording supports 8K at 30fps and 4K at 30/60fps. The Ultra’s characteristics are evident not only in its still image pixel count but also in its telephoto focal length and video recording formats.

8050mAh Battery and Independent Woofer
The battery capacity is 8050mAh (typical value). Wired charging supports 100W HyperCharge, and it also features up to 27W wired reverse charging and up to 22.5W wireless reverse charging. Reverse charging is a function that allows the smartphone to supply power to another compatible device. 100W indicates the charger’s output, and actual output may vary depending on the environment.
The audio system is a 2.1-channel configuration with symmetrical stereo speakers and an independent subwoofer. It adopts Sound by Bose tuning and offers two sound profiles: “Dynamic” and “Balanced.”

POCO F9 Pro Features a 200-Megapixel Camera in a 6.59-inch Body
The POCO F9 Pro features a 6.59-inch display, smaller than the Ultra. It houses a 200-megapixel main camera and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera, all within a 206g body. It’s not just a scaled-down version of the screen size; there are also differences in the telephoto focal length, ultrawide pixel count, and battery capacity.

206g Body, 29g Lighter than the Ultra
The body measures 157.49mm (height), 75.25mm (width), and 8.79mm (thickness). Compared to the Ultra, it is 6mm shorter in height, 2.69mm narrower in width, and 29g lighter. The thickness is 0.05mm greater than the Ultra.
The AMOLED display has a resolution of 2510×1156 and a maximum refresh rate of 185Hz. It also supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and DC dimming. The SoC is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V Series, and it also features the VisionBoost D8 for rendering assistance.
Even at 6.59 inches, the maximum screen refresh rate and independent rendering chip are common with the Ultra. However, due to differences in chip names and overall body configuration, this does not imply identical processing or sustained performance.
60mm Equivalent Telephoto and 50W Wireless Charging
The rear camera system consists of a triple setup: a 200-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel floating telephoto camera, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera. The telephoto camera is 60mm equivalent with an F2.0 aperture and features Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). Its focal length differs from the Ultra’s 120mm equivalent, meaning that even with the same 50-megapixel telephoto, the field of view is not identical.
Video recording supports 4K at 30/60fps. The front camera is 32-megapixel and capable of 4K 30fps video recording.
The battery is 6330mAh (typical value). In addition to 100W wired HyperCharge, it features 50W wireless HyperCharge. The wireless charger is sold separately. It also supports up to 27W wired reverse charging and up to 22.5W wireless reverse charging.
