The standout feature of the BougeRV CR Lite is its compact size.
Mr. GadgetThe BougeRV CR Lite is available in a 9L model and the 15L model reviewed here, both of which are quite compact for portable refrigerators.
Ms. GadgetFor light outdoor activities, a size like this is often more than enough!
Rather than lugging around something unnecessarily large, a smaller unit is definitely better!
App-Controllable
You can adjust temperature settings and turn the power on/off directly from the app.
Mr. GadgetThe language is set to English by default, so if that bothers you, feel free to change the settings to Japanese.
Ms. GadgetBeing able to control it via an app is a welcome feature!
Additionally, the temperature can be set anywhere from −20℃ to 20℃ on both the main unit and the app.

Powerful Rapid-Freezing Function
The BougeRV CR Lite is equipped with a rapid-freezing function, making it possible to freeze food and beverages in a short amount of time.
Actual Testing Results
The test was conducted by placing a thermometer right in the middle as shown above.
The target temperature was set to -20℃, and progress was recorded.
Mr. GadgetAs you can see from the photos above, the temperature dropped by nearly 10 degrees in about 10 minutes.
Ms. GadgetThat is powerful!
Subsequent Temperature Changes
As you can see from the images above, there is a difference in temperature between the standalone thermometer and the app.
This is likely because the thermometer was placed in the center, creating a discrepancy with the temperature detected by the unit’s internal sensor.
Mr. GadgetNaturally, since cooling starts from the walls, it takes some time for that cold to reach the central area where the thermometer was placed.
Even in the center, we confirmed that the temperature dropped close to 0℃ after 20 minutes, and plummeted past −10℃ after 40 minutes.
Ms. GadgetIt is more than powerful enough!
Low Operating Noise, So It’s Barely Noticeable
The operating noise level of the BougeRV CR Lite is 45dB.
Mr. GadgetDuring actual use, I rarely found it to be noisy.
Of course, it gets slightly louder during rapid-freezing, but once it reaches the set temperature, it only needs to maintain it, so it isn’t loud continuously, and even during rapid-freezing, it wasn’t loud enough to be bothersome.
