Review of the Jlink B32FP1K
Deep blacks due to the VA panel

First, I checked for dead pixels, but there were none.
I’ll mention it again later, but if your product has dead pixels when you receive it, please apply for a warranty.
Also, the color tone doesn’t seem strange at first glance.

| Panel Type | Advantages | Disadvantages |
|---|---|---|
| IPS | Wide viewing angle Beautiful colors | Slow response time |
| VA | High contrast Beautiful colors Relatively wide viewing angle | Slower response time compared to TN |
| TN | Fast response time Cheap | Narrow viewing angle Low contrast |
There are mainly three types of panels: “IPS”, “VA”, and “TN”.
VA has high contrast and deep blacks, providing a more immersive viewing experience.
Easy to install and understand!

The installation method is described in detail in the instruction manual.
Mr. GadgetPreviously, when I reviewed a Jlink monitor, the manual wasn’t this detailed, but it has been improved!

Limited connection terminals

As mentioned in the specifications, the details of the interface are as follows:
- HDMI 2.0 x 1
- VGA
- 3.5mm Aux x 1
- DC (Power) x 1
Ms. GadgetIt has the minimum necessary terminals.
Mr. GadgetPersonally, I would have liked two HDMI ports.
Vertical angle can be adjustedbut nothing else can
- Tilt: -5° to 15°
As shown in the picture below, you can change the angle of the monitor.

However, you cannot change the horizontal direction or the height of the monitor, so please be careful.
Mr. GadgetPersonally, I would have liked it to be height adjustable.
AC adapter has PSE mark

As mentioned in the specifications, the AC adapter has a PSE mark.
Mr. GadgetOf course, it should have one, but many products from Chinese manufacturers do not have a PSE mark.
The manufacturer this time included a product with a PSE mark, which was reassuring.

36-month warranty

As described in the instruction manual, there is a 36-month warranty.
Mr. Gadget3 years is a pretty long time!
Those who are a little worried about Chinese manufacturers can purchase with confidence.
HDR compatible

HDR (High Dynamic Range) is a technology that expands the range of brightness. Simply put, HDR makes the image more realistic.
The “Jlink B32FP1K” is HDR compatible.
Maximum 60Hz compatible

As mentioned in the specifications, the “Jlink B32FP1K” supports up to 60Hz.
| Movies, Anime | About 24Hz |
| TV | About 30Hz |
| Nintendo Switch, PS4 | About 60Hz |
| PS5, Xbox Series X | About 120Hz |
It’s fine for normal use and you won’t feel any particular inconvenience with 60Hz.
Mr. GadgetPS5 also works fine at 60Hz.
If you’re seriously playing FPS/TPS games, 60Hz isn’t enough, but well, it’s not a gaming monitor, so that’s okay.

Response time 4.2ms (GTG)
Response time refers to the speed at which colors change, and greatly affects image blurring. It is particularly important in games that require quick reaction speeds, such as FPS and fighting games.
The “Jlink B32FP1K” has a response time of 4.2ms, which is a reasonably fast speed for gaming.
However, if you only play occasionally, this won’t be a problem, but if you’re serious about FPS/TPS games, this number is a bit insufficient.
However, response time is almost irrelevant when playing RPGs or simulation games.
Mr. GadgetThose who are serious about FPS, etc., should buy a gaming monitor anyway (lol)
It’s perfectly fine for casual enjoyment.
